On February 2 and 3, 2022; a delegate team from the University of Zakho represented by Dr. Karwan F. Sami, Vice President for Students Affairs, and Dr Adam Jalil from College of Medicine, participated in the British Council workshop in Erbil entitled: "Internationalization of Iraqi Higher Education". The workshop discussed the mechanisms needed for the process of internationalization of Iraqi universities, including the universities of Kurdistan, through a set of discussions and presentations from different universities of Kurdistan and Iraq. Ideas were exchanged in this regard by giving the opportunity to extend participants' perspectives and knowledge about implementing internationalization in the higher education sector.
